Coke speed. If you watched the video, and I wouldn't blame you if you didn't lol, it did sound like shit in the beginning, but Alex definitely catches up and starts tearing up haha. After that, he's spot on and throws in some sick improv fills. He is a legend creatively and proficiently. One of the greatest live drummers imo.

Tim: if you want a perfect tempo then go take the drumset off the stage. set a tiny little drum machine there instead. And while your at it, have Anthony lip sync to an auto-tuned recording. Might as well go tell Picasso, "that's not correct!" "your ruining the 'evolution' of painting". = Tim, go take one of your "10 instruments!" raise it high above your head, and smash it on the ground once. Pick it up and create something with it. I think it'll be a good learning experience...

Nah its just about experience playing it fast, for all you know they were rushed through their set due to time constraints and they never dealt with this speed before, shit happens at shows. at the least, hopefully you can still commend the people making the music

@Kelspir He's right This is a pretty bad performance cause they decided to play the song like a million times faster than the real/original tempo. It's off the charts, anthony's gasping for breathing room and Alex can't even play his drum fills correctly cause he cant keep up with the tempo. Tempo holds down the whole fort of the song, if you're playing the song so much faster than it was ever intended to be played it becomes sloppy and you fuck up the whole song like in this video

@Kelspir you can call anything music, but you can also improve a song a lot more if you have the tempo in a certain range. the tempo in this song is way too high. so fast that alex can't do his fills correctly. anyone that plays an instrument would know that this song is too fast. That's why the recorded version of this song sounds nothing like it. you can have emotion and quality at the same time. you don't have to sacrifice one or the other. and I'm not mad hahha.
