@mcnickmish32 ....whatever the case, Santigold shouldve toured or something. Hope she can follow this up...but I loved her first album. Very difficult for black artists with different styles to sell (other than quasi avant-garde crooners Seal and Lenny Kravitz). Roots, Erykah Badu and Lauren Hill have had similar difficulties....

@mcnickmish32 ... but commercially, LES wasnt nearly the song, Creator was (which had already been featured in a commercial). Whoever her management is, their awful. M.I.A. got 2 years out of one song; Paper Planes, and you wouldnt even know who Santigold is and her album is brilliant. (she even appears in Paper Planes)

And they were like, we just spent all this money. So they changed the single to LES, and had a video, and people loved it, and it worked."[ I think both would have been good maybe she is a perfectionist

@PeezySpicoli actually that's not true M.I.A's first album was released in 2005 she has 3 albums. Santigold's first and only album was released in 2008. M.I.A has been on the seen in Europe since 2000.

I agree, this one SONG sounds like MIA but if you actually listen to the rest of her album you can see that she has a style of her own. In fact NONE of her other songs sound like this.
