Everyone loves them some covers, right?:)

This cover of the classic rock anthem (originally by the legendary band "Free") was done by the Canadian band Santers (still active). It's the eighth track from the band's 1984 album "Guitar Alley". This cover is a very good hard rock update of the original. Album is under Krescendo label.

Paul Rodgers is rolling in his grave, and he's not even dead yet.

Fab cover. Drum lead in this is great! Love Santers used to go see him regularly back in the day.

@seniorlanteigne yeah thats correct about Rick playing with Triumph...Gil owns Metal Works so that makes sense

@mrbuck49 as i recall hearing that santers was an engineer at metal works studio in toronto. basically always staying in music in some capacity either behind the scenes and yes was associated with triumph as a 4th member after allied forces. i could be wrong with some of this but i remember hearing it

Rick lazzaroff played in a band called the david matthews band, they were really talented too, my sister went out with Rome Gonzalis the guitar player, nice to see Rick went on to get some recognition,he was an awesome bass player, likely still is, don't know what happened to these guys ,I think rick santers played with triumph for awhile though. The seventies did produce good bands for sure, all a blur now. lol

In the 80's it seemed like I was the only one in my town who knew about great bands like this. Good to see there were others who knew really good music when they heard it. Also loved Riot (not Quiet Riot), check them out if you haven't already!

@qwertyzook WTF ??!! Better than the best singer in rock, Paul Rodgers ??? LOL !! Take your medication and put your hearing aid back in. Rick has a good voice but he's not up to Paul Rodgers level few singers are

As a 13 yr old when this album came out in '84, I actually had to find out who Paul Rodgers was after hearing this. I went on to become a big fan of Free and Bad Company but this version of All Right Now will always remain my favourite. I just wish Rick Santers had more popular success, he was a great guitar player and singer.
