Saw Santana in the first row in 1981 at the Sanger theatre in New Orleans. When he played DSD, I wept like a little baby.

I am a 50-year old guitar player. When I saw Santana do this tour I was a guitar student of just a couple years and was amazed at the perfection of the whole band, they rhythms, the percussion, the guitar, all amazing. Twenty years later in the late 90s I saw him again and was equally amazed, just like when i was a noob guitarist. And listening to this now, 35+ years after i first picked up an electric guitar, I'm still amazed. Just incredible!

Absolutely, if it weren't for the awesome, rich music from this era, I'd be in jail or dead. Thanks to the internet, this mighty music is available to all generations forever.

'Brimming with joy' - thats lovely and i totally understand. Moonflower took the pain of a difficult childhood for me, without it, i would never have experienced joy & ecstasy, - twas my only refuge from an unpleasant place. For that reason it means so much more to me than just a 'great album'. Its power & force never ceases to amaze me and still blows me away every, single time!

Yes , I am a 50 year old guitar teacher. I cut my teeth on this album when I was 14. I was brimming with joy when I learned it. This was the pre-Van Halen era.
