Sansui SR-212 Classic belt drive automatic-return turntable.

made of carefully chosen precision components, it has been designed with particular emphasis on ease of operation, reliability and tonal quality.

Among a multitude of features are a stable synchronous motor, full sized aluminium alloy die-cast platter, elaborate, statically balanced S-shaped tubular tonearm with skating force canceller, quality IM cartridge, gold plated connector terminal pins, multiple suspension/insulation system to eliminate howling, and much more.

@marcelcruzeiro Try to align your cartridge. You can find protactors on vinylenginedotcom . If it does not help, maybe you need a new stylus...

@marcelcruzeiro Sounds like you have a mistracking problem. The solution could be just replacing the cartridge rather than getting a new TT. Also, try getting hold of HiFi News test LP. It will help you to diagnose the problem

Hiya, your know your stuff if your looking at this sort of kit and your only 16 so well done to you. Its no longer for sale on ebay, it was sold but then the bidder didnt pay up. I am not realy bothered i just bought a Pioneer SA-508 amp to go with the turntable to create a second system. This old stuff sounds so much better than nre kit.
