Sandy Denny

The 1967 album Alex Campbell and his Friends contains three songs with Sandy Denny taking the lead. They are the earliest available professional recordings by Denny, and are truly beautiful. This is a direct from vinyl rip from an LP I Inherited from my late father, God rest his soul.

I own none of the rights to this copyright, or whatever. all I hope is that i can put this out there so that others can hear it as it should be heard in all it's natural glory. Thanks Alex and Sandy for all the good songs

I saw Alex a few times at the Half Moon pub in Putney so bought this LP in 1967. Discovered Sandy. Joy. Thanks for sharing.

Well Sandy could interpret ANY song beautifully. She could sing the phone book and it would sound amazing;) I love everything she did musically, but my favorite Sandy era is the period before she joined FC. Her music was stripped down and at its most revealing. Nothing but her gorgeous voice.

Interesting point but to demand is removal is a little over the top to say the least.this is one of Sandy's first live recordings and had a poignant place in her history, especially given that today would have been her 67th birthday. I do appreciate people taking time to give opinions on here, so I thank you for your time
