The Hagar/Hart Project (if that was the official name?) was a short lived side project by "The Red Rocker" Sammy Hagar (Ex-Van Halen) and famed percussionist Mickey Hart (Ex-Grateful Dead).
They only released one song in 1999, the Y2K-themed "Code War". The song sounds a bit dated now and perhaps intentionally silly - but it's still an interesting collaboration.
Hagar and Hart have later performed live together (search YouTube) and also penned the song "Marching to Mars" for Sammy's album, but "Code War" hasn't really resurfaced.
And since it's quite boring to stare at a blank screen, I took some actual photographs of my various CD booklets and created a short (visual) Sammy Hagar timeline. To me he's a rock legend.
Enjoy this "lost song" about the end of the millennium ("Party all the way to Y2K") and please share memories about the song if you have some. All info is appreciated.
