Backstory: "There are few musicians whom I have worked with that... have had an impact on my life, both in my career and my personal life in general as much as Sam Perry. Musically he is a live looping beatboxing genius; granted i'm a bit bias - but then again he has impressed and performed with one of the worlds looping masters, Dub FX himself so I have references. I truly feel privileged to have been there for a good part of Sam's musical advances but Sam is also a genuinely charismatic, smart and witty guy - and he scrubs up nicely when he wants to. Currently engaged in a large tour with the 360 ALLSTARS Urban Circus that's travelling across Australia/Europe throughout 2013 I know that Sam is only going to become more well known and he deserves every drop of that attention. As such a great artist and friend however, Sam however has the temporary (and rare) privilege of being someone whom i am willing to make videos for at a loss (though I'm keeping track of his tab; You better take me along on the next tour Sam!) and as such this video was born. Filmed at one of my regular local venues, The Rosemount Hotel, we had the privilege of taking all the cameras (and a fair few friends) we could find and sneaking in when there was barely anyone around to film this performance. Including pre-production I've poured many late nights into this to get it finished but here it finally is (now i can finally get some regular sleep!). Second lastly, thankyou to everyone who was involved in this and willing to put in all the effort in return for many a drink and meal in return. Finally, if you enjoy the video like and/or comment and most importantly of all, go see Sam the next time he is in your neck of the woods - you won't regret it."
