Omg! I'm so addicted to Sam Cooke! There is not a day I don't listen to him. He could sing, perform, and he was so fine! He made a girl melt, and I'm only thirty six years old! Lol even my eight year old child knows most of his songs, that's how much I play him. I love this man to pieces! Rip king of soul!

My granddad said it was packed. Everybody at the show was black (I'm assuming because of segregation and the fact that the club was in a black neighborhood), and that Sam was touching woman in the audience that's why you hear some women scream. They were pretty close to stage, that's the reason you can hear him so well. He said the show started a little after 10 p.m. Which is quite late, I'd say. Wish I could tell you more, but YouTube has a character limit (message me if you want more details).

This is the greatest live album I've ever heard. Not only is Sam pure Sam (as opposed to being the black Bobby Darin) with that incredible voice but I don't think I've ever heard anyone control an audience so well and to the point that they were fully incorporated into the act inself.
