Another Beautiful Song By Mr Cooke.

Folks said that you found someone new

To do the thing I used to do for you

Just call my name, I'm not ashamed

I'll come running back to you

Can't sleep goodnight, I can't eat a bite

When youwere mine I didn't sweet your right

Just call my name, I know, I know I'm not ashamed

I'll come running back to you

Just like a king, I've lost everything

I sit all alone on my throne

I've got my pride deep down insdie

I'm yours, I'm yours alone

I try to forget, had no regrets

This love about could always start anew

Just call my name, wooh, I know I'm not asamed

I'll come running back to you

I DO NOT OWN THIS SONG JUST A FAN

I was born in 87'. I grew up with rock and rap. I fell madly in love with easy listening music. My first live was Billie Holiday- low hanging fruit. She was so far ahead of her time. The song made me tear up a bit. Then it went to Frank Sinatra and so on. It doesn't matter the age of the person listening, it matters the soul of the person. I think when the soul of a person sees the more then the eye can this music means more. My son is 6 and loves listening to it with me. I hope that it stays around forever.

I was born 1966 an I have always liked an listen to music from 1940s to 60s into early70s after that as far as iam concerned music became a business no longer a passion,no longer an escape, no longer a true longing of the heart that you could not only hear an feel but it took you there mind, body&soul an for me an I know you may find this hard to believe cause iam to young to have listened to it when it was released. Starting with Billy holiday, these singers, entertainers, people! Wrote, sung an performed the greatest music anyone will ever be lucky enough to have heard. Then there is Sam Cooke who had the most beautiful voice that this world ever had the opportunity to hear. I know of no other that could sing nearer my god to thee, or change gonna come with the same emotion that puts chills down the back of your neck as sugar dumpling, twist or I'll come running back to you. People my age an younger don't know what they missed out on because SAM Cooke, Jackie Wilson, Otis Redding where taken from this earth to soon. I love their music an always will. But it saddens my heart when I listen to it. For the way Jackie wilson was used by people he trusted. That's what put him back on stage when he thought he could retire,it led to his being in a nursing home till his death. MR.EXCITEMENT was how he was billed. An a piece of shit manager took that from him.

I love listening to his music ,it soothes me and reminds me of my child hood with my parents and siblings. The memories of this music is healing therapy ,it makes me feel good.running around playing laughing, no bills no worries, just happy memories

He was before my time a bit but damn what a smooth and heavenly voice he shared on every song he sang, He was way ahead of his time on earth ; and they killed him.

Sam Cooke and Jackie Wilson were the greatest singers from that era

The youngsters that "sing" today sure could take a lesson from the great Sam Cooke.

Supposedly everyone in America is entitled to his or her opinion, but when it comes to Sam, there should never be a "dislike" to the greatest voice ever!
