It is very extreme that an article on metalunderground talks about the band as being "one of the original 80’s bands along with Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer and Helstar to usher in a style of metal that went on to later be known as Thrash Metal." Haha. Just like when people describe Mercyful Fate as being "brutal speed/black metal" or something. Salem's Wych is HEAVY METAL in its purest form.
