Hey man, I come from a similar background. I never did cutting, but I do remember one suicide attempt. I was always kind of a moralist, seeing how far I could go with girls or whatnot to still please the legalism of life but still have some of the world with it. He totally flipped it upside down when I just surrendered my life in submission to His will. I'm glad the scales have finally fallen from your eyes and we are united in Him. Peace, Brother!
