Definitely one of those songs that's sad but beautiful. I wish father's who left their child and babymother would listen to this and realize. I'm pretty sure the song tells about a father that's not around and the mother is saying to the child "Daddy loves you even though he's not here." Keeping their spirits alright for the time being.
