There's something special about this band. Warriors, soldiers, and battles from many different eras ,and of many nationalities, are made relative to one another in verse and fucking pulsing, shredding electric guitar. Songs about Polish horsemen centuries ago echo in the same manner as this song about American Marines, or songs about the Japanese samurai. For better or worse, all of these will echo through the eons connected by conflict and strife. That's pretty awesome. Makes me proud to identify with the American military

Every time i watch this scene from saving private Ryan i genuinely feel bad for the German soldiers and the american soldiers. They're just pawns in a big game of chess and yet everyone loves it one a German dies, yet hates when an allied troop dies. Its honestly disgusting and saddening to see people rejoice over the death of men following orders. they had families and lives too. :( the worst part is when the soldiers surrendering get shot. they obviously font want to die and are scared for their lives. :((((((((((((((
