"Panzerkampf" (tank battle) tells the story of the Battle of Kursk, also known as Operation Citadel (German: Unternehmen Zitadelle) in summer 1943. The operation is regarded as the last German major offensive in the Great Patriotic War (Eastern Front).

On July 12th the German Wehrmacht's Fourth Panzer Army clashed with the Soviet Red Army's 5th Guards Tank Army near the town of Prokhorovka, what resulted as one of the largest tank battles in military history.

CAUTION!

I won't tolerate any racist, discriminatory or in any other form inappropriate comments! This song neither glorifies war, nor National Socialism, but should be considered as a historical work.

"No, we don't glorify anything, we just tell stories about things that have happened." (Rikard Sundén, Sabaton)

Please support Sabaton and purchase their current album Coat of Arms.

As much as all of the euro-gypsy hipsters would love to deny it the United States could defeat have defeated Russia. The United States had the best trained infrantry, special forces, navy and Air Force (for the most part).Russia was able to defeat the already declining nazi Germany with sheer manpower. Thus such a strategy would only allow it to defeat the United States in a ground war.On top of that if Russia did get into a major ground war on U.S. Soil it would be crippled and broken after the pounding they had laid on them by Germany. Also if Russia had stayed on The Axis side they would have still lost the atomic bomb could have been used on both fronts and Russia was only prominent in one aspect of warfare , infantry which by 1943 would be easily crushed by new allied machinery D-day would more than likely have never happened.then late in the war Germany would conquer obsolete Russia after using them as a puppet.Russia would more than likely have a very small amount of new machinery and Germany would cut through them like a hot knife through butter. The war would last longer but in the end the allies would win.

I love that sabaton has a song for just about every major nation that fought in ww2. I love that it can make anyone from those countries feel hella patriotic.

Great song, but I just hope all the people commenting realized the Soviet Union would have been destroyed (and actually was being destroyed) had the US not joined. Then they attacked after Germany was already weak, killing not only soldiers but killing and raping civilians, then claimed glory.

If the Germans had not organized the massacre, half of the Russian Empire went to the side of Germany.*People in the former Russian Empire felt trapped by the USSR.*
