If you are going to cover a song I think it should be so completely different from the original otherwise why bother. Ryan gives an amazing saddened, despairing version that also outlines what a great song writer Bruce Dickenson is and never gets the credit as most metal guys don't because the all the Hair, Puppets and Demonic facade scares "professional music critics" (I'm not counting Hair Metal) Also don't discount Ryan Adams...there are a lot of sides to this guys talent. He's a true rebel artist that doesn't pander to the critics. Side note, Ozzy's song writing on Diary of a Madman is really phenomenal. He got cheesy after Randy's death however. Related Videos
