This is a great version. My only bitch is that he's too loose with the lyrics. I don't think it's better than the original, but I can see why someone would see it that way.

I like this cover. But unlike many in the comments, I'm afraid I can't agree that it's 'better' than the original. This is a pleasant yet somber, easy-listening backdrop for coffee shop chatter. Mould's is a rocking guitar volume cranker, that never overstays it's seven plus minutes of playtime.

Hey interestingly, the session drummer for Bob Mould's solo albums at that time was Anton Feir (sp?) who has been the long time drummer for Paul Schaffer's house band on Late Show with Letterman. If you care. Both Amazing songwriters Bob and Ryan.
