In the work of Tchaikovsky apparently the Tsar’s theme appeared in some instances in his music. I understand that the Soviet had those portions with the the Tsar’s theme, written by Tchaikovsky, removed and replaced by the music of lesser composers. Does anyone know which works this happened to and are both versions available on recordings; so, one might listen and compare?6 years ago
