I've heard them both live with the Stylistics. Russell Thompkins Jr.and Eban Brown. And while Eban is good. Russell is great! Russell's falsetto is like a summer breeze.

The Stylistics were a fantastic sounding group in the 70's, thanks almost entirely to the vocals of Russell Thompkins Jr. (or Russell Thompkins III as he was then known), and the production mastery of the great Thom Bell. As much a fan of their 70's music as I still am, it's disappointing to see this particular video of Russell feeling the need to lip-sync - and not in a very convincing way I might add.
