This is such a fantastic song and album. Wore out several cassettes playing it for all the youth group kids. Saw him in concert by himself and with the Imperials.If only there were writers and musicians that meet this standard today.

Performance and production-wise, this is probably the best version of the song "Close My Eyes" written by Paul Janz. The title and some of the lyrices were changed for this recording but you can also find the songwriter's version from his 1985 album and other artist covers under the original title, Close My Eyes. Paul Janz definitely had a knack for writing catchy tunes and of course Russ Taff is an excellent vocalist.
