I thank you for this comment more! As you know, this song has more different titles/versions, in English "She Wears My Ring", also "The Swallow", also "I Wear His Ring", etc... In Mexico is more known as "Las Golondrinas". All the best Allan! Regards, collector /now more than 1.500 versions of "La Golondrina".

I do appreciated your kind comment. This Spanish lady knows what is the real evergreen, almost like "La Paloma". You already know, this song is more known in Mexico as "Las Golondrinas". In the meantime, my collection has more than 1.100 versions world-wide /and counting... It is popular even in Korea and Japan, still today! But, in these languages it's so hard to find any new version -but I am trying. All the best!

Thanks for posting. I think if you're collecting 800 versions of something, you could do a lot worse than this beautiful little song. I played the piano in a department store some years ago and a little Spanish lady who was about to turn 102 requested this song. I will always associate it with her and it has special meaning for me for that reason.
