This was the first rush song I ever heard....1980 or so. I was 10. Geddy's voice is better now than it was then. And he's aging better than I'd expect. Rush is not a band that messes with their music live but it would be cool if they pushed the tempo of this one slightly. It's really a great song. Permanent Waves is my fave rush album. Though I think it's time I give there post grace under pressure stuff a listen. Age may have softened me to their synth period.

There are those of us who believe listening and watching 2:45 to 3:45 of this video is akin to watching Michelangelo paint, and we would be correct. It is a true power trio at work, with that unbelievably crisp yet effortless looking bass solo (3:23 his fingers glide in an other-wordly way), with canon shot, dead center, precision beats, and Alex's guitar filling in with an almost impossibly rich, full and consistent sound.....masterpiece.
