John Rutsey looks a lot like the album cover. . and he looks just Too cool . . . the song sounds a bit like 'Need Some Love? If this really is 'Need Some Love' the song writers really knocked it out of the park. . TY Mercury records, or whatever old dude finished the song for them.

Wow, this is the very first time that I've seen Rutsey play. It seems he was a fine drummer.

What cretins would dislike this?

Obviously Neil Peart is one of the best, if not the best drummer of all time, but the very early stuff with John is great, when they were a simple hard rock band. Plus Geddy's voice is top notch here, when I think of his voice this is the style that comes to mind.

Remonds me of "Need Some Love." Also cool to see Alex use the guitar slide...first and ONLY Rush song he ever used that on!

This kind of reminds me of Ten Years After at Woodstock.

Rush paying their dues, playing at a middle school. The auditorium wasn't even packed. None of the kids there could have known how huge they would become. Some of the kids even look bored, probably just thinking that it's just a little better than study hall. They were a really good rock and roll band then. Rutsey was a really good drummer, and Alex definitely had the blues-rock guitar style mastered by then. It's great to see him play slide. I can't think of any other Rush songs where he plays slide. They changed a lot when Neal joined, but it's fantastic to think that 2112 was only two years away.

To be honest, there's not a smidgen of a hint of greatness here. 3 years later they made 2112. Who'da thunk?
