I think this is one of Rush's best songs that describes the human condition at it's core.

I saw them a month earlier during this tour in Indy. Primus opened up for them.

@nick1137 I think you had "Nobody's Hero" and "Animate" confused. "Nobody's Hero" is easily on the list of top five songs that cause me to be embarrassed to be a Rush fan.

He has his set of headphones screwed into an old bicycle helmet to keep the 'phones from slipping off at inopportune moments. Frequently utilized in studio, and for certain tracks w/ intricate rhythm patterns or where syncing w/ certain other key elements are extra critical. ( i.e. 'Red Sector A' he uses a click track to keep synced properly w/ the keyboards, 'The Weapon' was originally based on a drum machine pattern, so has to be extra locked in, etc)

I'm a little disappointed to see that Geddy didn't do the spoken word parts live.

Cool song, very dark theme, as a nightmare certainly is...Rush at their finest circa 1994/Counterparts tour.

@nick1137 Are you kidding? Animate is one of the best songs off Counterparts
