I fucking love Rush and probably always will. However when Neil left Ludwig in the 90's and went with DW his drums sound flat as hell. I hate the sound of his damn drums. Almost to the point of having a flat off key pitch, and his playing has become lazy. I know they are getting older which is fine, we all do, but one of the things that attracted me to Rush was their aggressive powerful playing and total devotion to their instrument. AND his mainly traditional grip playing, which he's not born to do, during the Test For Echo days just sounds lax. He sounds like any other drummer, just with more of an awesome history. If I could meet him I'd probably beg him to throw those fucking shitty sounding DWs away and get something else. Anything else. Just not DW!!!!
