The hungarian language is part of the finnugor language-family. I am hungarian and while this finnish language sounds very familiar to my ears, I don't understand what he sings about. If it has similarities ? Yes it has, but these similarities are not enough for a hungarian to understand finnish. (very similar languages I can tell you is italian and romania, or french and romanian, I speak romanian and I can easily undersand italian and french though I don't speak neither of them)
