You know, I heard some of the covers right know. The most interesting thing I recognized is that, with this music, none of the lyrics really sound cruel. They can sing about rape, about murder... No matter what, sounds lovely and calm.

Ain't my cuppa tea but look at it this way. They are showing huge respect for another genre and doing they're thing with it so opening peoples eyes to talent elsewhere..i don't like it coz i love rock but i respect it. Gives the lyrics a bit of clarity.

'lake of fire' was originally by I think the meat puppets (could be wrong) but nirvana covered it in their own style as I said before another example would be sepultura covering 'the hunt' by new model army they are many more example I can give but again I feel you would not understand.. my point is this, what would be the point of a cover if it sounded exactly like the original?
