I think my friend put it best whilst standing beside me at a CG show, " I didn't pay for dying cat-core." Alex is awful live, which is why I wish they'd get someone else. Phil does highs, mids, but mainly gutterals. Which I prefer lows, so I'm biased I guess haha. Phil is my favorite, always has been. But I do enjoy Garrison from ERRA, his lyrical flow is astounding.10 years ago

Oh well yeah, there's no doubt that he's very good at lows but having dynamics can really be the difference between a good vocalist and a bad vocalist. I'm not a massive Whitechapel fan but from what I've heard it's mainly lows. Personally I don't really like Phil for that reason but I'm glad you didn't say Alex from CG. He's good on the CD but really bad live if you haven't experienced it yourself...10 years ago

I'd disagree, he does have versatility. He does mainly lows, nothing wrong with that. When you have lows like that, you can afford to do that. His highs are actually some of the best I've heard, so yes I'd still say he's the best or at least one of them. It's all about taste anyhow. I like Brandon, not so much Nick.
