The cream-like quality of her voice is suited to slow tempos, but I'd like to hear her with more sympathetic arrangements: reduce or mute the drums, and the backing with longer note values, not reproducing the lyrics. As it is, the backing is tum-ti-tum and can't match her flow. That's my opinion, anyway.10 years ago

The is an old song by the Sandpipers. Yes she sounds like Karen Carpenter. Karen Carpenter was an outstanding vocalist who sang with emotion. There is no shame in being compared to one of the most under rated singers of my era. Best to her.11 years ago
