Every time I here this, I see the majestic Victory, men of 800 standing tall and proud. The view pans up to the Union Jack billowing in the wind. Rule Britannia indeed.

Am loathe to raise the obvious point but how does the black (sorry for any offence i dont know the correct term colored?) britain hold our flag up and sing this song, this song will hopefully die with the monarchy especially the monarchy asap.

And I am a former naval officer, naval aviation, so I am not stupid about the subject. There is no reason the same Navy that fought in the Falklands should have become a shadow of its former self.

No offense, you are the USA's best allies, but you need to step up a bit if you want to keep singing this song.

Unthinkable in France where most people have lost all pride and respect for their army, their institutions and their Présidents. As a frenchman I remember attending HMS PINAFORE played by a troup of local actors and at a moment the Union Jack was unfoiled and I thought wise to laugh, a typical reaction of most french in such an occasion, when I realized that the public around me was not lauphing at all. I deemed myself lucky to had escaped safe and sound.

What's that positively German-looking flag doing there at 1:49? By George! It's a bloody Fritz infiltrator!

We Americans should be more aware of what we owe the British people for their steadfastness, courage and valor in the dark early days of WW2. Without the British we wouldn't have had the time to prepare for the war to come against the Axis. I am proud of my Anglo-Irish heritage...God save the Queen!
