What killed Ruben Studdard was terrible song selection. He has a huge personality, and they saddle him with crap like Sorry. It's also a case of not meeting expectations, which meant that he didn't get much publicity or airplay on his second and third albums.

I have listened to Kenny sing this so many times and loved it everytime I heard it. I guess I would have to agree with you Kenny 110% - I love just about everything Mr Loggins sings. Thank God he is still performing and now has a new group called Blue Sky Riders. Check them out

He does this so well. Dont really know who sings it better. Kenny Loggins, who wrote and sung it great (live and recorded) or Ruben, who sings it like he in church (aint nothing wrong with that) I absolutely think Ruben can sing anything. Love him
