I think its more in the "narrative" of a Burroughs story … where the nurse came by with a "hypo as big as a bicycle pump we called her mother wouldn't you?"+Savannah Miles its just a D chord on a twelver: the riffs play around pull-offs in the 5/6 note blues ex. 1st opening riff pulls are open B string ||, to 3rd fret Bstring, open E, and A on the 2nd fret Gstring - the only actual chord change is to A … but thats it. Rolling Trux simple blues makes for best songs.

Why did I listen to this record for years, in college, then become a junkie, eventually get clean, go back to these roots and realize what I was listening to. OK - I was reading a lot of WS Burroughs and new the rumors of many musicians, but …… scratch my fn head. LOVE IT!!

I believe he is talking about his/her drug dealer. Not having a nurse that is a junkie.. I could be wrong though.

I like the idea of having my own nurse, but not one who's a junkie. Either my prescriptions would be messed up, or she'd take the good stuff and leave me with a placebo :D
