Royal Blood - Figure it out (bass & fake guitar cover) video free download

This is how I got this sound :

Compressor goes into the Line Selector, which has 2 chains, in the first one I make the fake guitar sound with a EHX POG2 (see the video for the settings), then into the Little Big Muff and the Harmonist.

The second chain is for the bass, and in this song it's a clean sound so I don't have any other effets than the Bass Booster (to get more bass, because on the Duesenberg I only have the bridge pickup on to help with the fake guitar sound).

And the TU-3 is in the bass chain to cut off the bass when needed.

Mike Kerr uses a slightly different setup with one more POG2 and 3 outputs that go into 1 bass amp and 2 guitar amps. I only have one POG2, this is why I had to record the second guitar separately. For the second guitar sound, I used the same settings as in the solo.

Also note that this is recorded directly through my Focusrite Scarlett 2i4, and that I did not treat the sound or add any effects afterwards.
