I remember the first time I heard this, travelling down the M6 from Birmingham, going home to London 22 December 1973. unforgettable, just finished off big pipefitting contract, was single, had a great girlfriend was loaded (with money) and was starting my Christmas hollidays, brings back great memories, every time I hear it. happy happy days.

I remember watching this at the time as a kid. It was great but years later I still wonder how the kids endured the heat of the studio lights, yet still managed to sing and dance in woolly hats, scarves and wellies. Nowadays there'd have to be a risk assessment!
