There is a poet, I forget her name, but every one of her poems could be set to the melody of "The Yellow Rose of Texas."

Roy Rogers the king of the cowboys, Saturday movies at the State Theater in old San Antone was a weekly pastime. Admission was 5 cents and everyone was complaining when they upped the price to 9 cents. LOL.

I used to watch cowboy movies when I was a kid and my Father took me to the movies. It was a good time and I Heard Roy Rogers sing frequently in those old sepia-colored films. Hearing this again so many years later over fifty in fact, brings me so many recollections of my childhood. Good song. And very well performend also.

Funny to see white supremacists on this thread. A 'Yellow' girl or the 'sweetest rose of colour' would have been recognised as a part-black person in the old West. The whole song is about 'assimilation' in a way.

Roy Rogers, one of my childhood heros, even before John Wayne was.

I am a brown man from India in love with cowboys and the code of movie honour exorted by movie cowboys like Roy Rogers. In my school days, Roy was indeed one of the handomest cowboys around with his suave manners and fairness towards all for protecting the weak and the innocent. These are universal virtues, forget whether you are white, brown, yellow or black.

Every Saturday morning in the late 1940s, I was at the movie theatre watching Roy Rogers. Me and a couple of hundred other WHITE kids. And now? ALL White countries and ONLY White countries are being flooded with non-whites, and Whites are forced by law to integrate with them so as to "assimilate," i.e. intermarry and be blended out of existence. Those enforcing this genocide of Whites say they're anti-racist. What they are is anti-white. Anti-racist is a code word for anti-white.
