No one will ever touch the full greatness of Roy Orbison. But, this song belongs toJimmie Rodgers. His 1962 recording of the beautiful Fred Rose song is so deep and haunting that tears will flow, if you have any soul in you at all. FYI, this song was first recorded in 1946 by the great Roy Acuff. Please, for your own benefit give the Jimmie Rodgers version a good listen.
