Produced By Jeff Lynne Of The Electric Light Orchestra, "I Drove All Night" Was Kept In "The Vault" Until It Resurfaced On The 1991 Compilation Album "Nintendo: White Knuckle Scorin'. "I Drove All Night" Became A Top 10 Hit In The USA And UK In 1989 For Cyndi Lauper. It Was Covered in 2002 By The Country Band "Pinmonkey" And Again In 2003 By Celine Dion. Roy's Version Is Superb And Really Deserved To Do Much Better On The Billboard "Hot 100" Than #74 In The Summer Of 1992.

Such an awesome song, my mentor Billy Steinberg, the co-author of this song, really loved this version, the 'uh huh, yeah' part, was just an ad-lib on the demo he and Tom Kelly played for Roy, and they loved that Roy sang it.
