How "Don't Let Go" ever got past those 1950's "uptight" censors, is anybody's guess. 'Cause this song is raging with sexual innuendo. Makes my knees weak. And that voice ... magnificent, warm as an afghan blanket, easy going and an effortless vocal range that is S-E-X-Y as hell. Oh .... Did I already say that?? I can definitely hear Hamilton's influence on Elvis('s). Similar vocal inflection as well as style.... Wow!!!

...roy had such a fantastic voice...elvis admired roy to the max...roy did not get the recognition he deserved...so elvis copied roy's style and ran with it....roy understood the times and attitude of the recording business... so elvis compensated roy in gifts and cash......as a matter of fact, elvis recorded many of roy's songs while roy was with him in the studio....
