My all time favourite guitar hero Roy Buchanan playing a track called Roys Bluz.

This is the 2nd part of the clip as i had to split it in 2 so it would fit.

Enjoy!!!

Man, thanks for posting this, but I'm not sure you could've split the videos up any worse:S Still great stuff, tho. Roy will ALWAYS be one of the greats, in my book!

@tallmunchkin ; I consider myself fortunate to have seen him in several different venue's so I say this with the utmost sincerity & respect. If you like Roy;s playing here......pull a video of him BEFORE 1977-78. Don't have the time or space to explain why but take my word for it. Good example is Roys Blues-1976. RIP Roy.

Hi, if anyone could post studio album version of Down By The River (as far as I can recall this should be back from 74/75) I would appreciate it ! Seems impossible to find ......

everybody borrows from everybody--that's what inspiration is about--when you're that good, you inspire...nobody is a pure original...and I wonder where you get that info about hendrix from, being that he once said he learned how to play music from "people" ...from... "life" (that includes everybody)...and was anything but egotistical or self-centered to hide his influences

one of those rare muso's who gived me goose pimples when he rips it up. unbelieveable what this man could do to a guitar. he seemed such a humble fellow too. still my fav 30 years later.

Roy Buchanan was the best ever guitarist in my opinion, but funny how this second part of the blues has the same tune as Sneaking Godzilla Through the Alley, just as Baltimore has the same tune as The Messiah Will Come Again. This shows how Roy tried to get the same song in 2 different songs, if ya know what I mean.

I don't think I've ever seen so much emotion on any of his other songs, he's awesome
