I lived in the DC area in the 1980's and we DC music fans just to used to mutter "is it Roy or Danny (Gatton)?, is it Roy or Danny?, is it Roy or Danny?...Throw in Delbert and you have utter perfection!

Fantastic. I never knew anyone else who did this song other than Waylon Jennings. He would have loved it. Thanks for sharing.

Delbert has the sexiest singing voice out there. Cool if I could arrange a nightly in-person lullaby to cure the insomnia. I'd be indebted. And for Roy ... impossible to say too many good things of The Master. Thank You for all the records and on YouTube the vinyl is a treat. I heart you both. Uh huh Uh huh.

Have every Roy Buchanan ever recorded & saw him live at the Massey Hall in Toronto Ca. in 71 3rd row center, Most awesome Tely stretch picker ever. No pedals no effects just pure gut wrenching squealing blues guitar with his Fender twin turned backwards. No matter who steals his licks there will never be another Roy Buchanan. RIP my friend

Two truly great artists. I wish that I had been there. One regret in my life is that I did not see Roy live at one of his small venues. I likely drove past the Crossroads when He was there and I did not know who he was.

Delbert is among the best R&B singers alive today, and he can handle other styles just as well - including country and other roots styles. This is a very nicely done version of a song I first heard done by the great Joe Simon. Nice work by Roy, too.
