This is really neat. I remember how excited I was when they reunited and toured in '79. What's up with that crazy drum set Paul Thompson?

this video was shot in the foyer of THE REGAL cinema in fulham which closed in 1970. it then became a rehearsal building for roock bands. it was sadly demolished many years ago & the site is now a supermarket... :o(

This could have been such a classic Roxy single had it had a better mix. But it sounds as if the bottom has fallen out. Love it from about 1min in when it goes all Gary Numany..

Classy stuff....this song shoots through the shit that were floating around in 1979! Manifesto was my first Roxy album! There is always something different every time i put it on! Love it to death!

Only this song - the artist (Roxy Music) is a national treasure but this song was lacking.

trash 2 is the better version. ferrys vocals strong and pure as on much of manifesto. trash is a good track phillip should not diss it. so what that it barely entered the top40 singles chart at the time. then god help us, dance away was a big hit followed by a flimsy version of angel eyes from what was quite a powerful album track.and so the terrible decline in ferrys vocals and the bands musical strength began, alas.
