Roxy Music photos from Sheffield City Hall 1974 (3 Oct). The music is from Newcastle (same year). . . Found some old 35mm negatives wasting away in a box in my attic. Carefully restored them (using Photoshop and a really smart little filter called Noise Ninja), and uploaded them here for your pleasure....

"Take refuge in pleasure, just give me your future we'll forget your past....Oh Mother of Pearl, Submarine lover in the shrinking world.....Oh lonely dreamer, your choker provokes a picture cameo."

Sounds like John Wetton on the bass? Whoever's on it is all over the song....

Sorry 'bout that, but just checked it and it works fine for me. Yes the track was from a file called British Biscuit, Newcastle and New York. Maybe NY is the elsewhere?

I have this same 'live' version on an old bootleg lp called 'Absinthe Makes The Heart Grow Fondle-Live in England & Elsewhere'. Thanks for the images bringing this song to life.
