If only I had a time machine I could go back and watch this live. Just an amazing track and I still play it today.

Brilliant version of the song. Ferry takes a back seat, just doing his vocals and then cruising all over the stage; Manzanera solos superbly.

they should have slowed the tempo of the original single cos its excellent but two short, or increased the tempo of this attempt cos they've fucked it up. I cant understand they played this live version so wrong, just about the only guy who did his part correct was the drummer and the abcent eno.

Thank you for all the great Roxy videos, CitizenGatsby! Just saw the man himself live in Seattle and can't seem to come back to earth...

This is awesome. EVen though Eno isn't there, it's still awesome. Plus, Eno may be missing, but Eddie's got a Mellotron. You win some, you lose some.

Love it. (... & it reminds me a little bit of Planet Telex in some parts)

Thanks for the correction...It's been a long time but I felt sure what I posted was accurate? (getting old I guess). I'll remove the post.

I'm afraid that's not right. Virginia Plain (released 8/1972) had an instrumental called The Numberer as the B-side and made #4 on the chart. Pyjamarama was an original, non-album single released in March 1973 (the same month as the For Your Pleasure LP) and made # 10.

Totally ultra-cool, a little weird and completely original!!! No wonder I dig Roxy!!

I'm convinced that Roxy Music doesn't get the credit they deserve...truely original.

Rock bands wanted to destroy hotel rooms....Roxy Music wanted to redecorate them. Very chic. class.

I have always loved this song. In the 1970's people never understood what I saw in Roxy Music. I think they're all rethinking their opinions.
