One of the great songs, ever. Roxy never got the attention they deserved.

one of the most inventive bands of an obscenely inventive time...Bryan's vokes are pure crystal madness, zanies

Phil Manzanera is the most ovelooked guitarist of all time. I never understood why he has never been given the accolades he truly deserves. Those first three Roxy albums are sensational, then they became Bryan Ferry's backing band after "Stranded". I still have them on vinyl after forty years, but got rid of the later albums.

Pyjamarama was pretty much overlooked in the U.S (but then so was Roxy Music at the time), I had to get an import copy of it...

Probably my favourite of all they ever did, just so wonderfully put together. Look at Bryan move there, laid back and doing just what he wants to. This is Charisma.

I'm guessing the nearly invisible keyboard player is Eddie Jobson, not Eno.

Greatest band of all time with a genius leader way ahead of his time.

I remember reading or seeing a Ferry interview & he said this was the first song he wrote using a guitar. I remember thinking you talented twat.Everybody else's first effort at a song with a guitar is usually shit, ( I know mine was)& he goes & writes Pyjamarama ?It's one of my all time favourite songs & anyone who plays guitar will know it's got a killer & tricky (in Eb) descending chord sequence. Great lyrics, fantastic song.

Why Virginia Plain gets airplay over this classic I'll never know. This is THE definitive Roxy single if there was one at all.

Bryan Ferry's terrible moves makes this much more compelling...
