I was at the Liverpool Empire show, with a few mates who several years down the line turned into popstars themselves. How little we knew, fate & destiny the pull & the push ?It was a good show, this was the opening number.

I bought a couple of programs at the concert in Manchester in 1979, intending to preserve at least one of them in mint condition - I hope they were not amongst the stuff my mother chucked out when I went away to Uni, or that which she moved into a damp garage - guess I may never know without trawling through all my stuff.

The album that finally overcame my Roxy prejudice. Good live sound; brilliant bass work from GT.

Sadly, this tour was the only time I caught Roxy live. I won a bet about 'Manifesto' being the opener. The show was priceless. Just a primo rock-n-roll band, flawlessly played. And of course Mr Ferry is soaked in Cool,

And now everyone knows that you have the brain of a goldfish. Oh, and by the way, Byrne is on record as saying Ferry was a huge influence. Bryan Ferry, that is, not your "Brian".

Yeah, everyone knows Brian Ferry is a poor man's David Byrne.

I saw this on the Liverpool Empire.1979 Bass player was Gary Tibbs as far as I can remember. Bought a program on the way in and it became every instrument on stage(drums mainly). In tatters at the end of the gig.
