Listen to the 801 Live album. There are a ton of long Manzanera fuzz guitar solos on that and it's a really great album with Brian Eno and Simon Phillips on drums

Agreed. Often it seems "time" is the only evidence of "good" music", I wish Roxy would do a "reunion"-everyone else does... For all the guitarists/fans: Phil is this amazingly nice, humble person. It's remarkable to me that sometimes the most talented artists are that way.

I always loved the way early RM could, out of nowhere, jump into a jam. Here, Phil is just doing his thing, laying down a nice riff, when BOOM its on! (at 2:57). For a band so well known for its front man it is to Bryan's credit he also knew when to just "fit in" with the boys and rock it out.
