Roxy Music performing "A Song for Europe" live at the Rainbow Theatre in Finsbury Park, London, England for ABC's In Concert from London — June 4, 1974.

The quality is not pristine, but who cares? This is a 'Stranded'-era performance of "A Song for Europe." Very special. Enjoy! :)

I was frustrated having to miss them in Cleveland, Ohio at this time, but my date, a high school guy, was angry I wouldn't have sex with him and finally refused to take me, knowing I'd saved to buy something long and elegant to go. That guy stalked me for a few years, too. Now, I'm in Europe. Greetings from Paris. This is a really good live performance from a terrific album and wonderful group. Art, elegance, chaos with a crooner. I'd never heard anything like this and really haven't since.

Actually my favourite Roxy song. I still say 6th June as I have the ticket and I was there. Also on the bill Humble Pie; Leo Sayer and The Sensational Alex Harvey band. My first Roxy gig was also at The Rainbow April 1973. Sitting across the aisle Elton John.
