I saw the Rotary Connection at the University of Florida in Gainesville in 1969.  Friday night they performed at the Rathskellar.  Saturday afternoon they showed up at the Plaza for an hour of more of personal, informal "connection."  It was great!!!  I'll never forget those two days, the band, and especially Minnie Ripperton.  There just aren't any words to describe her superb talents.

@jackhillty My sister's Volkswagen was equipped with a Playtape. Pointless. 8-tracks ruled back then.

heard this for the first time the other day and haven't been able to get it out of my head. I used to have "Aladin" on something called a 2 track - tiny tapes that were made by some fly-by-night company for use in their little plastic tape machines - I think they were called "Play Tape". anybody remember those?
