Stolen from their myspace...

Rootjoose were a surf-rock band from the south coast of Cornwall, England. They had an almost cult following around the UK of dedicated fans who've became addicts of their energy-filled fusion of funk, pop, dance and downright musical dexterity.

Reaching sub top 40 positions with releases during 1997 with Avex records, the band 'went it alone' after Avex pulled out of the UK during 1998. After that, Rootjoose remained very active, gigging relentlessly up and down the country. Although remaining without a record deal, the guys released a 'home-grown' EP Money and Time early in 1999, although a new album never materialised.

This is NOT Surf Rock! In fact, this band is what would happen if Stone Temple Pilots and the Spin Doctors screwed, had a kid, and then dumped it in a rubbish bin outside of Prom Night! Hey Rootjuice, Interstate Love Song says it wants its hook back!

I have sent you a message on here as I don't want to post my email address for the world to see. But £20 sounds good to me if you are still after the album :)

I remember these dudes when they was on the Beavis & Butthead, Do America (the promotional tour of the film) when they appeared at Leicester's fosse park where part of the afternoons fun was "who can eat the fastest 9' Dominoes pizza"
