He's got all the right notes and such and yes sure he sounds like he's doing everything right...EXCEPT he has no emotion. NONE he has nothing. Freddy has pure venom and anger in it when he put out the song and this is just lifeless

iickky ~ guitar is fine & even a compliment but dam is this guy reading the lyrics for the first time ever while singing ... this is as much an insult to the (anger / angst ) this song was meant to deliver (much in tone of backstreet boys singing VENOM black metal ! ) Total insult to QUEEN ~ I am usually very open to unique versions but dam this just sucks ! Listen to the Live Killers version by Queen, this version will be nothing but a distant memory! haha

The vocalist sounds like a choir boy trying to sing this song in a balladeer kind of way =S Listen closely to Freddie's way of singing this song. 37 years after this song was recorded, you can still feel its venom eating away at your insides. It was so vicious that Freddie was hissing like a snake about to strike its foe, that sort of anger. You can just feel his anger pumping at him, even when he sang this live at their concerts. Sorry, but this is no match for the original. No match at all.

I'm sorry. you can't sing that song in that voice. You can't sing that song if you're not Freddie. Crapy version. And you can kiss my ass goodbye.

Rooney is such a talented band! Queen is an extremely hard band to cover as well as Freddie Mercury's vocals. Robert did a fantastic job! Very impressive. Great talent always makes me happy :)

Freddie's voice is very aggresive in the original song, but I like the calm tone in this version.

@hamster12a Excellent version, extremely close to the original. Loved it. But I can't compare it to Queen's version, it's been sooo many years...

pienso que esta cancion no la deberia cantar nadie ya que cuenta con una dedicatoria de freddie mercury hacia un nasty old man

Wow! I love this song and I love Rooney! Of course Freddie is way better, but wow... this is so weird. Rooney covering Queen! ahahah xD

Although this version is great, I honestly find the original better in terms of vocals. In the instruments, I can't see any real difference.

wow, they even went into lazing on a sunday afternoon. you can tell they wanted people to know they really know their queen. Freddie is smiling

it´s one of my favourite Queen-Songs. Rooney stayed very close to the original version - but I really like it.

@hamster12a yeah, the queen version i like because he sounds so angry in the song and the song is, well, an angry song. the instruments even sound livid in queen's version!
